Comprehensive Training for Nautical Certifications

Puerto Sotogrande is enhancing its nautical training offerings this summer with a new series of certification courses. In collaboration with El Pañol Formación Náutica, Fundación Navega, and the Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande (RCMS), the initiative aims to provide high-quality education for aspiring sailors.

Comprehensive Training for Nautical Certifications

The programme is designed for individuals seeking certifications such as Patrón de Embarcaciones de Recreo (PER), Patrón de Yate, and Capitán de Yate. Courses are available in both in-person and online formats, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Classes are held in the afternoons, from 17:00 to 21:00, with tailored content for each certification level.

Blended Learning Approach

The theoretical component combines visual aids, real-life materials, and explanatory videos accessible after each session. This blended learning model ensures that students can keep pace with the course, even if they miss a class, providing a flexible yet comprehensive educational experience.

Practical Experience in the Strait of Gibraltar

Practical navigation sessions are conducted in the waters of the Strait of Gibraltar, near Sotogrande. This strategic location, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, offers diverse sailing conditions, enriching the hands-on training experience.
